Talk2me
Our talk2me website (www.talk2.me.uk) continues to be an invaluable resource in reaching young people. Whenever any of our traveling teams are out meeting young people they tell them about the site. This means that the young people can then continue keeping in touch with the team members.
Activate (www.yfc.co.uk/teams/activate) have found this to be invaluable and many young people visit talk2me to continue talking to the team.
Other popular sections include question and answers section, next time you’re online go and visit the site and see what questions the young people are asking of Christianity.
SMS
SMS is a fluke, it started off as a novelty add-on feature of some phones and has grown into a global phenomenon. We have an sms system that is able to respond to messages sent to it according to the first word of the message. Using this we can build a variety of interactive message systems such a sms voting, prayer requests, bulk messaging etc.
The only limiting factor is our imagination.
Film Team
A new project for this year is the Film Team.
Pete Stratton and James Botting have both taken a year out to work with YFC as the new film team.
Andy Dennell from Sky news took two weeks leave to train them in using the new camera, computer and editing software so that they can produce professional DVDs.

Their work has included going to Ayelsbury Vale YFC to work on a local council funded project as well as promotional items for the YFC teams.

Prayer Points
Your prayers count, probably more than any of us realise. And for each prayer you offer I sincerely thank you.
I’d appreciate your help in praying for the following items.
- Technology—It’s great when it works but as you will all know there are times when it doesn’t. Please pray for all the technology we use that it will work and not cause un-necessary hold-ups.
- Effectiveness—All that I do needs to be effective in proclaiming God’s word, please pray that God is glorified in all my work.
- Finances—Please continue to pray that the money needed to run this ministry (salary and equipment costs) is provided for and thank God for the generosity of the current supporters.
- Family– Please pray that the Lord keeps looking after us. He has shown his loving grace to us time and time again for which we are truly thankful.
- Thanks—Let’s not forget to thank God for all He’s done so far. For his gracious provision and protection.

This ministry needs partners, people who are willing to sacrifice their time and money. These people commit to pray and financially support the work of New Media in YFC.
Each partner is a vital part of this ministry and contributes to the work of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ in this nation.
